HAPPY NEW YEAR RESOLUTION WE MAKE AND BREAK

SUMITWORDS WISH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY HAPPY NEW YEAR :) BE HAPPY :)
MAKE RESOLUTION BUT DON'T BREAK
Making New Year Resolutions is a common tradition practised all around the globe. New Year resolutions are where a person makes a promise to himself or herself to follow some act or break some habit throughout the entire year. But have you ever thought the reason behind promising something and carrying on with your resolutions? We suppose you don’t know, so here is the myth behind making such promises to God and to oneself at the start of the year. Long ago, the Babylonians promised to the Almighty that they would return all borrowed objects and pay off their debts. New Year Resolutions are nothing but promises that reflect one’s wrong deed and God offers forgiveness in exchange. In fact, New Year Resolutions came from Lenten sacrifice and the concept reflects self-improvement throughout the year.
There are great examples and a long list of to-do resolutions, but it seems as these are not followed regularly. We hear a lot of people saying, ‘Iss saal kum oily khana khaungavajan kam karunga, gymjaunga’ so on and so forth. But a majority of us break New Year Resolutions by the second week of January itself!
The most common reason behind breaking resolutions is that people over enthusiastically make such commitments but later on regret and break them, further blaming their work schedules, lack of confidence and much more. So better keep just one resolution at a time instead of too many, we suggest. This New Year’s Eve, we highlight some popular resolutions that are never fulfilled! Take a look:
1.  Lose Weight and Get Fit

This is one of the most common New Year resolutions, where people totally avoid consuming candies, cookies, sweets just to lose inches of weights. We see people joining gyms and other fitness club just to keep their resolutions going. But they hardly end up going to the gym even for the entire first month of the year.
2. Quit Smoking

Hmm, thinking of quitting smoking? Why think? Simply act on it. We hope you all know what smoke does to your body. Good luck to all those dedicated smokers and hope you quit it as soon as possible. This is another common New Year Resolution never kept!
3.  Reduce Stress

The people who worry a lot tend to make a New Year Resolution of having a stress-free year. Stress relief can help you be healthier and even happier, so better stop worrying and start enjoying life! But unfortunately, the New Year Resolution of stress is the first and the foremost thing that can break very easily.
4.  Spend Time with Family

People don’t usually get time for their family these days, so what can be really best than to reconnect with your family on this New Year? Plan an outing with family and kickstart your New Year with loads of fun. But the question is, will you be able to maintain this New Year Resolution throuhgout the year?
6. Quit Alcohol
Alcoholics often make a New Year Resolution of drinking less. But this type of  New Year Resolution hardly lasts for more than a few weeks! Consuming less alcohol or totally avoiding it is good for health and even your wallet. Why to keep on boozing simply for nothing? Instead, try health drinks.
7. Improve Finances

Often, people take an account of their finances in December, and since it’s not the end of the financial year, they make a New Year Resolution of making amends by March when the business year ends. There are a lot of people searching for an opportunity to manage their debts more effectively. Planning such stuff is a difficult task and people are not able to manage debts and save throughout the year.
8. Achieve Good Grades
Guilt-ridden students often take a pledge on New Year’s of achieving good grades in their exams and impressing their parents. Studying hard and achieving good grades can make your parents smile and forget all their stress. But this New Year Resolution is often broken by distracted students! But we would say, keep trying. All the best!
9. Volunteer for Social Causes

This is an uncommon New Year Resolution and is broken only when there is a lack of initiative. Let’s take a pledge of changing the mindset of people and making our planet a better place to live in. Volunteering can give you immense happiness and a bit of help offered to others doesn’t hurt.
10.  Self-Improvement

‘I will improve myself’ – this is a rather common New Year Resolution encompassing whatever you want to improve upon. This New Year, let’s try and change one self in a positive way. Stop being rude, childish, nasty, arrogant, selfish and instead try some good qualities like respecting others and being a good listener rather than speaker, and showing some maturity where required.
So, are you one of those resolution breakers, who certainly give up the next day, or will you keep your promises? Welcome the New Year with a new resolve, and wish you a very Happy New Year 2015!

WHY DO INDIAN MEN STARES AT WOMEN

Why do most Indian men have a habit of staring at women? To understand this national pastime at a more fundamental level, firstly we need to understand the concept of staring.

When does a person stare? Usually this starts very early in life, whenever we don't understand something, we tend to stare, as if staring would make things clearer. Since boys tend to have more ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) than girls, it follows that the boys tend to spend more time not understanding things and thus, staring. The habit starts building up to such a point that when the normal Indian male reaches his teens and his blood has more hormones than haemoglobin, he starts staring at these mystifying wonders of his world -- Women.
It's not as if all Indian men stare at women for the same reason. A fair percentage of men need to determine by visual vote whether a woman is cultured or not depending on the kind of clothes she wears, or rather how many pieces of clothing is she wearing. The men with an even more finely honed "culture barometer" try and reason out as to why is the woman wearing those particular clothes? The answer to all these baffling questions are being worked out whilst staring at women.
Another main cause of Indian men staring incessantly at women is "past life correlation and regression". Don't get scared, this phenomenon doesn't have anything to do with mathematics, it is purely the Indian male's need for correlating women to things that they are familiar with or understand.
Men afflicted with this malady are constantly trying to figure out which woman resembles which famous actress or current fantasy or whether they've seen the lady somewhere or not. All these life-changing queries involve a lot of staring on the Indian man's part. The women obviously don't have a clue as to why they are being subjected to a kind of X-ray vision Superman would have been proud of.
Some Indian men also have an underlying scholarly reason to account for their staring at women. They are the disguised Sherlocks in our societal scum, and their stares are not just simple lust-propelled hormonal imbalances in their nature, they don't call it staring but instead garb it in a more dignified term called "observing".
These "observers" of women try to deduce things about the objects of their miss-affections that would put to shame any detective we have ever heard of. These observations will include whether the woman is happy or not, whether she needs a man (read "observer") in her life or not, her moral character which miraculously becomes directly proportional to her physical attributes.
The National Society of Stare Gazers also have another complex formula for determining the moral fibre of a woman. The exact calculation of moral character of a woman being stared at is unique to every member but broadly speaking, it involves observing the skin being shown by the woman and multiplying it with the desperation of the staring party and squaring it with the distance till which she can be stared at.
These stare stars, or observers, or whatever we might like to call them, also believe in never letting any woman feel lonely. Their stares underline the essence of the Late MJ's hit single "You are not alone", and if their eyes could walk they would follow the fairer sex to every nook and cranny of the universe.
The views expressed above are purely my own and may not hold true for all Indian men, however, it is an issue which plagues or has plagued almost every woman in this blessed country of mine.
The reasons for staring may be numerous but the truth is that we unfortunately live in a sexually deprived and depraved society, largely helped along by stereotypes and to a certain extent Bollywood. I, for one, firmly believe that proper education, not just at school but also at home, on the TV, movies, etc. is the only way out of this stare-struck country of ours.

MOLES ON FACE AND THEIR MEANING

The Chinese Almanac, also known as the Tung Shu, is commonly known as the book of auspicious and inauspicious dates, but there is so much more to Tung Shu than that. This is a huge source of information relating to astrology, codes and symbols derived wise sages and philosophers of ancient China. In this issue, we bring to you the secrets from the almanac regarding moles on the face and what they mean depending on which part of your face they appear.

First, check your face for any moles, and then look at the pic above to determine the number(s) that are closest to the moles on your face. As a rule, praying only hold meaning for you if they are prominent and they are the only one. If your face if full of spots, acne or "little" they say, they do not count. When you set that corresponds to the position of a mole on your face, look at the values listed numbers below.

Position 1 to 3:

As a child, you are somewhat rebellious and a free spirit. You have an intane creativity and work best when you have a free hand. Generally, your superiors like your approach to life. If you have a mole here, you are much better in the business and be your own boss rather than working for someone else. What promises that you happen to be your own boss.

Position 4:

You are an impulsive person, often acting with a brightness that gives you charisma and a sparkling personality, but you can be difficult when there are too many opinions. You tend to be quite controversial, but not to the extent of the offense. This mole tends to give you an explosive temper and if you decide to remove it, you will find yourself becoming calmer and more at peace with the world.

Position 5:

Mole above the eyebrow indicates that there is wealth luck in your life, but you will need to work and earn more than most people. You must be carefully kept as there are people who are jealous of you who might try to sweet talk you into parting with wealth. Be wary of those who try to interest you in get-rich- quick schemes. If you have a mole here, it is advisable not too trusting of others. Follow your instincts and be cautious. And never allow other people to manage their finances.

Position 6:

They say here indicates intelligence, creativity and skill as an artist. Your artistic talent can bring you wealth, fame and success. It also indicates wealth luck, but this can only be fully realized if you follow your heart rather than stick to conventional means of livelihood. Success will come if you are brave.

Position 7:

Moles under the eyebrows indicate arguments within the extended family that cause you grief and unhappiness. It will affect your work and livelihood. It is advisable to settle any differences you have with your relatives if you want peace of mind to move forward.

Position 8:

This is not a good position for a mole. Your financial position will constantly be under strain because of overspend. You also have a penchant for gambling. The only thing you have to know when to stop. At the same time, someone with a mole here has a tendency to flirt with the opposite sex, as well as with the same sex. It is better to be a little discerning where you exert your charms, or you might get into trouble.

Position 9:

This mole position suggests sexual and other problems. It is an unfortunate mole and you are well advised to get rid of it. It brings a series of disasters and a parade of problems.

Position 10:

They say here right under the nose indicates excellent descendants luck. You are surrounded by family at all times and will have many children and grandchildren. You have a family to support you and will be both materially and emotionally fulfilled.

Position 11:

Moles here suggest a tendency to succumb to the disease. It's a good idea to have this mole removed especially if it is a large, dark mole. Otherwise, use a lot of groundwork to cover it.

Position 12:

They say here foretells a successful but also a very balanced life. You probably will not just rich, but famous as well. But although you have every opportunity to live the high life, you will have a satisfying home and family life as well. Women with moles here are particularly fortunate, and tend to be beautiful and glamorous as well.

Position 13:

Your children will be a big concern in your life. Your relationship with them is not good. There is nothing much you can do about it, except that, to learn some tolerance.

Position 14:

They say here implies vulnerability to food which can be a big problem in your life. You may be allergic to certain foods or you can simply eat too much.

Position 15:

You people are always on the move and constantly updating and redesigning your home. You want to get to know new things and see new places. You are not happy if you remain in one place for long. You enjoy travel and adventure, and have a very observant eye.

Position 16:

You have to be careful when it comes to food, as well as when it comes to your sex life. These are your two biggest problems. You tend to have weight issues which can make you depressed. You enjoy romance, sometimes with more than one person, but because you are a person with some morality, you will feel guilty, and it will cause you a lot of stress.

Position 17:

You will be someone of great social importance. You are active on the social scene. There is a tendency to become big headed about your success, which could lose you your good name. This will affect you deeply because you draw your confidence and self-esteem on what others think of you.

Position 18:

You are a person always on the move. There is a large foreign travel in your life, but you should take extra care each time you cross the great waters, as your mole prefers you to stay at home.

Position 19:

You have money luck and many good friends, so this is a good mole to have. Your weakness is that you tend to succumb to the charm of the opposite sex. In your life, this is what you could get in hot water, so cool your ardor.

Position 20:

They say here can be very lucky or very unlucky. If you have a mole here, you are destined either for extreme fame or infamy. You have a great talent for creativity and are also highly intelligent, but your talents can be used for both good and bad. You are not a man to be trifled with for you is no pushover and do not forgive and forget easily. This mole is a sign of someone who will go down in history as either a major or as a tyrant.

Position 21:

This is a good mole, as it suggests plenty to eat and drink throughout your life. This mole also brings fame and recognition.

Position 22:

Your life is always happy and things go smoothly for you. You could very well be a sports superstar if you have the passion for it. Moles at the end of eyebrows also suggest a person of authority and power, so if you are the CEO of the company, you will do very well.

Position 23:

You have a high IQ, and you are both brain smart and street smart. You have a highly developed survival instinct and lead a meaningful and long life. You will not be active until a very old age and will have friends and family around you till the very end.

Position 24:

You will achieve fame and fortune in your young age and you are advised to use this period to safeguard your old age, as people with moles here tend to harder life as they get older.

Position 25:

You will enjoy good prosperity and recognition luck, but be careful of excesses. Stay in your traditional attitudes and you will have a long and fruitful life.

USING WATER AS MEDICINE

DRINKING WATER ON EMPTY STOMACH

It is popular in Japan today to drink water immediately after waking up every morning. Furthermore, scientific tests have proven its value.

We publish below a description of use of water for our readers. For old and serious diseases as well as modern illnesses the water treatment had been found successful by a Japanese medical society as a 100% cure for the following diseases: Headache, body ache, heart system, arthritis, fast heart beat, epilepsy, excess fatness, bronchitis asthma, TB ***(verify from a consultant)***, meningitis, kidney and urine diseases, vomiting, gastritis, diarrhea, piles, diabetes, constipation, all eye diseases, womb, cancer and menstrual disorders, ear nose and throat diseases.

METHOD OF TREATMENT :

1. As you wake up in the morning before brushing teeth, drink 4 x 160ml glasses of water.
2. Brush and clean the mouth but do not eat or drink anything for 45 minute.
3. After 45 minutes you may eat and drink as normal.
4. After 15 minutes of breakfast, lunch and dinner do not eat or drink anything for 2 hours.
5. Those who are old or sick and are unable to drink 4 glasses of water at the beginning may        commence     by taking little water and gradually increase it to 4 glasses per day.

6. The above method of treatment will cure diseases of the sick and others can enjoy a healthy life.

The following list gives the number of days of treatment required to cure/control/reduce main diseases :

1. High Blood Pressure (30 days).
2. Gastric (10 days).
3. Diabetes (30 days).
4. Constipation (10 days).
5. Cancer (180 days).
6. TB (90 days) ***(verify from a consultant)*** .
7. Arthritis patients should follow the above treatment only for 3 days in the 1st week, and from 2nd week onwards – daily.

This treatment method has no side effects, however at the commencement of treatment you may have to urinate a few times. It is better if we continue this and make this procedure as a routine work in our life. Drink Water and Stay healthy and Active.

This makes sense .. The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their meals not cold water. Maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating!!! Nothing to lose, everything to gain… For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you.

It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this ‘sludge’ reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food.

It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

A serious note about heart attacks :

1. Women should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting.
2. Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.
3. You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack.
4. Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms.
5. 60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up.
6. Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let’s be careful and be aware. The more we know, the better chance we could survive. A cardiologist says if everyone who gets this mail sends it to everyone they know, you can be sure that we'll save at least one life.

Please be a true friend and send this article to all your friends you care about.

INDIA PROUD ON HIS PM

MODI HAS CHANGED INDIA IN 17 INCREDIBLE WAY

The Narendra Modi wave rode to the seat of power in the summer of 2014. Winning absolute majority and representing over a billion dreams, Narendra Modi achieved his dream of becoming India’s PM and has been an unstoppable force ever since. From stalled projects to foreign policy building to launching welfare schemes and reviving the economy, Modi and his government have been hard at work fulfilling peoples’ expectations. Here are 17 major changes that the Modi-led government at the Centre has achieved since coming to power.

1. Launched Jan Dhan Yojana That Brought Crores To India’s Banking System

Jan Dhan Yojana, the Prime Minister’s plan to include millions of citizens into the banking system, has met with resounding success. More than 75 million accounts have been opened so far under the scheme that envisages at least one basic banking account in every household that will also give credit, insurance and pension facility to the account holders. The success of the scheme can be gauged from the fact that two states, viz., Kerala and Goa as well as Chandigarh, Puducherry and Lakshadweep have achieved 100 per cent financial inclusion. Jan Dhan Yojana was announced by Narendra Modi in his Independence Day speech early this year.

2. Juvenile Justice Act Was Reframed To Punish 16-Year-Olds

The Union Cabinet has approved amendments to the Juvenile Justice Act that will treat minors above 16 years as adults for heinous crimes like rape, acid attack and murder. This is an important Bill that comes in the wake of the 2012 Delhi gang rape case. To protect the interests of juveniles, the Bill also makes it clear that no juvenile can be given the death penalty or sentenced to life imprisonment. The last time this Act was overhauled was in 2000.

3. Planning Commission Has Been Junked Along With Goms And Egoms

India’s 12th Five-Year plan, as commissioned by the Planning Commission, will not live to see the light of 2017 when it was supposed to end. Instead, Narendra Modi scrapped the Soviet-era government scheme and invited citizens to shape the future of the country, no doubt adding more admirers to his flock with the bold and innovative move. The government might replace the Planning Commission with a bevy of economic advisors along the lines of US thinktanks. Nine empowered groups of ministers (EGoMs) and 21 groups of ministers (GoMs) that were in operation because of coalition politics have also been disbanded under Modi’s rule to allow ministers to take faster decisions and add accountability to their actions.

4. Lean Ministry That Prefers Austerity

Fewer ministers in the cabinet means lesser travel expenses for the exchequer. However, going one step further, the government has banned first-class travel for its ministers, cut down on five star seminars and they have to get clearance from the Prime Minister’s Office before going for foreign tours. The Finance Ministry has a target of reducing non-planned expenditure by 10 per cent through effective use of these austerity measures.

5. Recognising Power Of Neighbours Like Nepal And Bhutan

Having good relations with your neighbours is a must for any country. Especially when there is another country (read China) trying to do the same to your neighbours as well. Thus, Modi’s visit to Nepal – the first by an Indian PM in 17 years – and his subsequent visit to Bhutan are foreign policy masterstrokes designed to help India increase its soft power in its neighbourhood.

6. Developing Deep Relations With Japan And Bonhomie With China

At the same time, in keeping with Modi’s Look East philosophy, he won the hearts of Japan and pushed his agenda of bringing in high-speed trains to India using Japanese technology and finances. And when Chinese President Xi Jinping came visiting, Modi spoke of peace and progress even as border skirmishes between the two countries threatened the two leaders’ dialogue. Modi restrained himself well and won favourable reviews from the Chinese party.

7. Standing Up To Pakistan’s Bullying

On the other hand, the Modi Government has taken a firm stand against Pakistan’s continued attacks on the border. Perhaps for the first time, an Indian government has decided not stay silent on insurgency as well as rebuff pressure from Kashmiri separatists. Then defence minister Arun Jaitley had emphatically stated that as long as ceasefire violations continue, India will have no dialogue with Pakistan.

8. Recognising The Potential Of North East India

The Modi wave had spread to India’s North East during Elections 2014 and the region’s faith was rewarded with more than an outlay of over Rs 50,000 crore in Budget 2014. A new sports university, a new channel called Arun Prabha and an annual festival celebrating the diversity of India’s North East has also been mooted. More importantly, however, good roads and railways will now be constructed to improve the region’s connectivity to India and ward off threats from China.

9. Launch Of Make In India Scheme

Make In India is a major new national program started by Narendra Modi that is designed to facilitate investment and innovation in the country as well as add jobs by establishing industries. There is also talk of reforming India’s labour laws to allow for investment in the country. The international campaign has already caught the attention of many industries across the world.

10. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Campaign That Went Viral

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is a nationwide campaign to clean the country of its rubbish and dump. It was launched on October 2 this year by Modi himself at Rajghat. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is India’s biggest cleanliness drive and with Modi using his Twitter profile to nominate celebrities and famous people to take part in the initiative, the campaign has already created its intended buzz.

11. Getting Its Way With The WTO For Food Security

To ensure that the Food Security Bill does not clash with international policies, India has held up talks with the World Trade Organisation, much to the chagrin of world leaders. However, in a major victory for India, that deadlock has now cleared with India holding firm on its stand to support its farmers.

12. Stable Government That Is Unafraid Of Reforms

From selling stake in ailing public sector companies to increasing limits on FDI in other sectors and bringing in much-needed laws that ease common man’s life, Narendra Modi’s government is keen to transform the face of the country after winning absolute majority in Parliament. With no need for coalition partners, Modi’s BJP-led government can focus on creating change that the country needs.

13. Focus On Economic Reforms And Policy Implementation

Modi’s government has identified infrastructure and defence as its immediate core concerns. On the defence front, there is already talk of trying to turn the country into an exporter of arms rather than inflate the exchequer with huge import bills. As for infrastructure, the Modi government has already initiated work for high-speed trains and creating a Diamond Quadrilateral rail corridor connecting the major metros. It has also begun work on cleaning the Ganga river and Modi’s 100 smart cities project.

14. Digitising The Country

Narendra Modi’s penchant for technology is well-known. Combine that with the IT revolution and the huge number of youth employed in the sector, it should come as no surprise that Modi is now looking beyond by talking about broadband connectivity in villages, mobile governance and a network of telemedicine in rural areas. Little wonder that even Mark Zuckerberg couldn’t resist stopping by to meet Modi on his recent visit.

15. Tourism Boost To Add Jobs And Help Increase Foreign Exchange

The country’s tourism sector is set to experience a major shift as more and more tourists have begun considering the country as a vacation destination after the government overhauls its visa system and introduces visa-on-arrival for all major countries. This is likely to spur more jobs in the tourism sector as well as bring in some much-needed foreign exchange into the country.

16. Capturing The Diaspora And World’s Attention

We don’t have to tell you how Modi left the US and Australia charmed with his speeches in Madison Square Garden and Sydney’s Allphones Arena. Modi vowed to keep pushing for change in India so that the country takes a turn for the better and drives more growth and opportunities for its citizens.

17. Ending Open Defecation By Building Toilets

In 2010, the UN released statistics that were shocking—more people had access to a mobile phone in India than a toilet. India’s massive drive to address toilet infrastructure, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to ending the practice of open defecation is admirable. Modi has launched a massive drive to build 111 million toilets in the next five years at an incredible rate of one toilet per second!
