THREE STORIES

Faith, Trust and Hope: What’s the Difference? If we had never before met and I asked if I could borrow $100 dollars to invest in a wonderful deal that was closing in moments, but I would give it back to you within 30 minutes…would you have given it to me? Probably not. You didn’t know me, you didn’t know what kind of person I was or what I would have done with your money. You had no idea if or when I would actually do what I had said, which was to return the money within 30 minutes, after investing it into something wonderful. No matter how bona fide the deal truly was, you could not have trusted me because you didn’t know me or anything about me–and you valued your money above my words.
